“You are like salt for the earth – bringing flavor, preserving what is good, and making a difference for the Kingdom of God. But if salt loses its distinctiveness, it becomes useless. You are also like a light for the world. A city set on a hill can’t be hidden, and no one lights a lamp just to cover it up. Instead, it’s placed where it can shine and give light to everyone around. In the same way, let your life shine so that others can see the good you do and be led to honor your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:14-16
